one hot summer night in baltimore, we got the crazy idea to connect four computers all running music software through a 4-track tape deck into a fifth computer. we recorded over an hour each night over two nights. then we separated the tracks and they now sit patiently on a series of a dozen data CDs, waiting to be mixed into something listenable.
